Safety is a primary concern of Carlisle Events and the following rules are in place to ensure adherence to our safety measures for driving responsibly on-grounds during our events.

Driving on Grounds

9AM to 3PM on event days - ALL FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION WITH WHEELS ARE PROHIBITED

EXCEPTIONS :

• Power-driven mobility devices used by persons with disabilities
• Golf Carts used by persons with disabilities must display the proper Carlisle Events issued Sticker. Call 717-243-7885 for details.
• Carlisle Events and Concessions staff with credentials

BEFORE 9AM/AFTER 3PM on event days - All forms of transportation with wheels are required to display the proper Carlisle Events issued credentials

• Vehicles must have vehicle stickers
• Other transportation with wheels must display a permit sticker. These are available at the Registration Building and you must provide proof of insurance/sign a waiver.

Requirements to operate all forms of transportation with wheels:

• Must carry valid driver's license
• No open containers of alcoholic beverages
• No impaired driving
• No cruising, no burnouts, no reckless driving,
• Violations of any of these requirements will result in an expulsion from the event without refund.

ANYONE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL BE STOPPED AND GIVEN INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO BECOME COMPLIANT OR REMOVED FROM THE EVENT.

Handicap Mobility Scooters may be used on grounds at any event with no approval required. Our on-site mobility scooter provider is Scootaround at 1-888-441-7575. It's highly recommended that you reserve a scooter in advance (Follow the link or call to reserve in advance) Rental of a scooter at an event cannot be guaranteed without a reservation. Scooteround is located outside of Gate #3, adjacent to the Vendor Services building.

No side by sides, ATV’s electric scooters, minibikes, dirt bikes, or bicycles are permitted.

Spectators/Showfield Participants/Individuals Golf Cart Requirements

You may use golf carts after 3 pm on Event Days, with proper credentials. If you intend to use a golf cart on grounds during Event hours, the following requirements must be met:

A physician's note must be provided stating a reason a golf cart (instead of a scooter) must be used for transportation. Must be dated and updated every 2 years.             

Must provide a $500,000 General Liability Insurance Certificate.

The year, make and model of GOLF CART need to be provided. No side by sides, ATV’s electric scooters, mini bikes, dirt bikes, or bicycles are permitted.

When the required documents have been received, a sticker will be issued for your golf cart. The sticker MUST be attached to your cart and visible, showing that you have been approved for use on grounds. You may pick up the sticker at the Registration Office outside Gate 3. Must provide ID at the time of pickup. Must show admission ticket or purchase ticket @ registration building. 

It is the cart user’s responsibility to check in and make sure all paperwork has been received by Carlisle Staff. We will not contact you prior to the events.

Vendors - Businesses/Corporations

Vendors may use golf carts after 3 pm on Event Days, with proper credentials. If they intend to use a golf cart on grounds during Event hours, the following requirements must be met:

A physician's note must be provided stating a reason a golf cart (instead of a scooter) must be used for transportation. Must be dated and updated every 2 years.             

Must provide a $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance Certificate, listing Carlisle Productions Inc. as additionally insured.

The year, make and model of GOLF CART need to be provided. No side by sides, ATV’s electric scooters, mini bikes, dirt bikes, or bicycles are permitted.
